Promoting gradual rehabilitation to hearing aids

We believe that it’s better to be introduced to new levels of amplification very gradually.
Join Our Campaign for all UK Citizens to have 3 trials before being able to buy private hearing aid.

Amplification preference is a very individual thing

Hearing aids do not work for everyone. In fact, they seldom do what the new user expects. How do we increase the chance of success? How do we protect patients from disappointment?

There should be no mystery at all surrounding private hearing aids.

Why should our prospective patients be so worried about stepping through our door? We need to remove all possible barriers. The internet has helped a lot. Positive blog stories & content can help even more. Engagement with your local community to get the right message across is perhaps old-fashioned, but it works.

Everyone that has hearing difficulties must be enabled to try hearing aids before committing to wearing them

The members of The Hearing Practice Group believe that all UK citizens should be able to test new hearing aids thoroughly in the first instance, to find out if they will suit them.
